class descriptions


All classes are taught in the Anusara® style of yoga. We will explore the Universal Principals of Alignment, which encourage the practitioner to develop both inner strength and a soft heart allowing us to live in the flow of Grace. Hands on assistance and detailed verbal cues will be given in each class. Questions are encouraged! If you have questions or concerns about the level for you, please ask.


Level 1/2*
This class is perfect for students who are new to yoga as well as those new to Anusara Yoga. Emphasis will be on refining awareness of alignment and developing endurance and flexibility in the body through a variety of postures. This class is meant to empower both beginners and those with previous yoga experience to move to the next level of practice while introducing basic philosophy.

Level 1-3
Expect a playful and engaging class.  We will explore a more dynamic practice while welcoming students from experienced beginner to advanced levels.  This class is meant to empower and inspire all practitioners of yoga to move to the next level of practice.  Inversions, arm balances, deeper back bends, and seated poses will be taught.  Demonstrations and modifications are given to accommodate students at all levels.  Come with an open mind and an open heart and be ready to try something new!

All Levels
This class is open to yogis of all levels of practice and experience. We will explore a more dynamic practice while welcoming students from experienced beginner to advanced levels. Handstands, backbends and more challenging poses may be taught. Demonstrations and modifications are given to accommodate students at all levels.
