The Art of Teaching Anusara Yoga brings together essential teaching techniques to step into your own greatness while learning to support others to step into theirs.

We’ll focus on:
• Taking the auspicious seat of the teacher
• Supportive environment to build your confidence as a yoga teacher
• How to teach the Universal Principles of Alignment
• Seeing students more simply and clearly
• Hands on adjustments, modifications and therapeutic applications
• Weaving heart-felt themes & Tantric philosophy into classes
• Skillful language
• Effective demonstrations
• Sequencing
• Finding and cultivating your unique voice as a teacher

In Anusara Yoga, teacher trainings are specifically designed to instruct trainees on how to teach Anusara Yoga. You will learn to safely and effectively teach an asana class while inspiring your students to move from the inside out.

You must have completed an Anusara Immersion program to take this course.

“Stacey has an exceptional talent articulating the principles of alignment as they apply to asana and integrate stories and life off the mat in a way that is accessible and fun.”
~Wako Takayama 2007 Immersion

“Through Stacey's instruction and guidance, I have become more capable of glimpsing the deepest part of my potential, both in my body and in my heart.  No other teacher has been able to offer me the gifts of my own empowerment to embrace myself fully, even my limitations.  I bow to her as one of my most profound teachers.”
~Andrea Fotopoulos 2006 Immersion

"If you're looking to make a meaningful step toward positive changes in your life, I don't think anything could be more powerful than an Anusara Immersion.
~Anna O'Neil 2006 Immersion

"I am so grateful for the knowledge and experience the Anusara Immersion brought into my life. While I do not exclusively attend Anusara classes, I am able to apply the principles in any type of yoga class. I feel much steadier, calmer and stronger on my mat. I also run several times a week and I've even found that the alignment principles apply to other types of exercise! My practice has gone from being a 3x/week part of my life to becoming a philosophy that is with me all the time". ~ Megan Swanson 2007 Immersion

"Stacey's Anusara Immersion profoundly expanded my physical, emotional, and spiritual awareness. She is thorough, profound, and dedicated. I loved it so much, I took it twice!" ~Steve Wertheim 2006 and 2007 Immersion

“The weekend retreat was a great way to begin the immersion. I was absorbed in the practice of yoga and philosophy in a place of natural wonder. Conversing, eating, and getting to know all of my fellow yogins made me feel comfortable, accepted and supported in our shared journey to gain knowledge about Anusara and ourselves.” ~Sophia Pasadis 2008 Immersion
